Xiaoyue Qin (Marina) is an independent documentary filmmaker from China. She lives in Shanghai and aims to create documentaries that help the world to have a deeper and better understanding of China.

Her first feature-length documentary NEST won the Best Documentary at the 17th FIRST International Film Festival. The award was presented by the Chinese actress Joan Chen.
